Stalagmites

Yep, we have stalagmites growing in our house now. No, we don't live in a cave, though sometimes it feels like it. We have a stalagmite growing kit for sale here at LynLivy's and thought we'd try it out. So far, they're growing! And my girls were excited to use a beaker...and crystal powder...and food coloring...etc.

This is a great kit for your budding scientist, geologist, or even archeologist!

annual light up celebration...

Wow, it's already November! And time for the annual Holiday Light Up Celebration at Artisans Alley! Lots of activities, trunk shows, guest artists, live music, product demonstrations, etc going on all day Saturday, Nov 7th (that's THIS Saturday!) from 10-8pm.

Stores will be open till 8pm. LynLivy's will be decorating holiday sugar cookies! Yum. Come by and say hi and get some Christmas shopping done early!

Goin Batty

LynLivy's will be at the Hidden Forest Fall Festival this Saturday, Oct 24th 1-5pm (hopefully next to the, ahem, Cake Walk, wink wink). We'll have a table full of Webkinz and spiders and other sorted quirkiness.
the Webkinz Bats were a big hit last year...we'll have more of those, plus the Lava Dragon. Roar! As well as all your other favorite Webkinz for this year!

Marshmellow Launchers

OK, you asked for it, and here it is! Marshmellow Launchers! This is a kit, no less, to make and decorate your own, AND it comes with a little learning on things that fly and air pressure, etc (see, education CAN be fun!). Very cool!

We also have a new Test Tube Science Kit in stock for those kiddos who LOVE science AND test tubes. This great kit offers kids a chance to play with touchable bubbles, they don't pop! Learn how plastic molding works by making your own super bouncing ball, make up to 20 feet of slimy, gooey Insta-Worms. Write secret messages with disappearing ink you make yourself and lots more!

a REALLY Big Sock Monkey

Well, looky who's made his way to LynLivys...a REALLY big sock monkey! We're calling him "Art." We're hoping he'll feel at home here while waiting to be scooped up and loved. So far so good. Feel free to come by sometime and get a picture taken with him. He's a cutie!



Oh, and he has some MUCH smaller keychain/zipper-pull sock monkey friends he brought with him. 'Keymonkeys,' if you will. They've been making themselves quite at home here, as well. I'm convinced they come alive after closing. These will make wonderful stocking stuffers! Come see!
